Janet B. Armstrong, AFCA, SCA – painting 40+ years in Calgary. She paints from her home studio or out on location, creating plein air paintings from her travels. Has been involved in painting projects – murals, event painting, teaching & volunteering for various fundraisers. Landscapes, architecture, animals, vintage memories and people, can be found in her collection of paintings.

“As long as I can remember, painting has been my passion. Painting outdoors or indoors is on my daily agenda and there is never a shortage of ideas. I work mostly in oils and am attracted to many nature scenes around our province and across Canada. Travelling to other countries has also inspired my recent work. People connect with my work through galleries, group shows, my website and instagram postings. I love to paint, capturing inspirational scenes and bringing them to life on my canvas.”
