Anke Duffy is a realist artist based near Okotoks, Alberta. From her home studio, Anke paints a variety of subject matter including landscapes, florals and portraiture in oil and acrylic mediums. Inspired by her surroundings, she records her impressions in a realist style. Colour and shapes are key components in her work, and she enjoys utilizing light and shadow to create a sense of depth in her paintings.

Anke studied Visual Arts at Grande Prairie Regional College and obtained a BFA majoring in Drawing at the Alberta College of Art and Design. She is a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, Okotoks Art Gallery, Leighton Art Centre and the Alberta Society of Artists.
