For eight years as a flight attendant, I moved through the liminal worlds of planes, trains, buses, and endless airport corridors—spaces where people gather not by choice but by journey. These public transit spaces have always struck me as a living social web, places where stories brush against each other in silence, where connection is possible in the briefest glance or shared direction. Public Art opportunities will allow me to expand that vision within my art practice, deepening my exploration of public spaces as a social space and enabling me to create work that honors the rhythms of movement, the stories carried across borders, and the need for connection in our increasingly mobile world.
