Dynamic Palette Knife Painting with David Mensing: Saturday, February 26th & Sunday, February 27th – Workshop

Join us live and in person for this workshop as David takes you on a crash course in the use of a palette knife to create bold, expressive fine paintings. While painting with a palette knife can be challenging, there is no better way to develop rich, tactile compositions. At the conclusion of the workshop, you will have new tools and a new outlook to take your paintings to the next level.

David Mensing grew up in Iowa and moved to The West as a young man. David
lives in Sisters, Oregon with his wife and their three children.

A professional artist for more than fifteen years, Dave has also worked
professionally as an Architect and a Camp Director. He has been certified as a
white-water rafting guide and at one time was a talented Pole Vaulter.

For David, each painting is a statement – every aspect of the presentation is
important. His architectural background contributes to his compelling designs.
He is careful to select a title for each painting that reflects the character and
spiritual basis of the work.

David’s paintings are featured in collections and exhibitions across the nation
and around the globe. Numerous books and periodicals have featured his work
with cover images and feature articles, including American Art Collector,
Southwest Art and Western Art Collector. Recent national awards include
